法國最美鄉村之一的Yvoire @ karenliu的海天遊蹤

伊瓦爾Yvoire 是法國中世紀古鎮，至今已有700多年的歷史，因在14世紀時是個軍事要塞，所以仍保存有基本防禦工事的城堡、城牆等，因這些設施及建物都是用石頭建成的，故有”石頭城”之稱；後來因為致力於發展花藝，並於1959年「花城花村比賽」（Concours des Villes et des Villages Fleuris）獲獎後逐漸轉型為旅遊及花園小鎮。

就如yvoiretourism網站介紹：

"Yvoire received its first prize in the national competition for the best kept villages in 1959 and the rewards followed over the years. Now ranked as “Four Flowers”, the village represented France in 2002 at the European level and received the International Trophy for Landscape and Horticulture."

而「花城花村比賽」評分標準大致可分為兩類：

就一個城市或是鄉村整體花草樹木的量與質來評分。花卉的種類、顏色，花圃的設計…都在評估範圍內。
針對全體市民或村民的整體付出與心思來評分。污水、垃圾處理情況、公共建築、公共空間或是私人住宅綠化、美化的狀況，市政府或是鄉鎮公所是否經常舉辦與植物花卉相關的活動或是展覽，以提升學子們或是居民們相關的知識，這些都在評分的考量裡。

此外，Yvoire還連續20年獲得法國最美鄉村的美譽：

"Yvoire has been part of the [b)association of the Most Beautiful Villages of France for the last 20 years and has many visitors and admirers at the height of the season summer."

而要申請成為最美鄉村正如我3年前拜訪過的里昂以東的Pérouges，必需具備三個基本條件：

ˇ 村莊的居民不能超出2,000人;

ˇ 至少需有2處受保護的地點或遺跡；

ˇ 得到廣大民眾的支持，並經該鄉鎮議會決議通過。

往返Yvoire交通不太方便，從Thonon去的巴士一天只有5班，最早7:00，再來就是12:10。我們坐12:10車前往，大約30分鐘即到達了。Yvoire號稱法國最美小鎮之一，吸引很多遊客造訪，網誌上提到的都是從瑞士搭船當天往返，没看到有人提到從法國其他城市前往，我們坐的巴士乘客寥寥無幾，而在Yvoire下車的竟然只有我們3人。

Yvoire不大，整個小鎮慢慢走大概20分鐘就可逛完，但遊客不少，大部分是搭船或自行開車前來，少部分是團體旅遊坐遊覽車來，而像我們坐巴士前來的大概5隻手指頭可數，因為下午我們在站牌等著坐17:38巴士回Thonon時，只有4個人候車！

相較於昨天的緊湊，今天的行程就是要悠閒，所以就在Yvoire慢慢晃（原本有打算坐船前往尼永；但後來覺得太趕而作罷），中午找了一家看似很受歡近的餐廳用餐！

History of Bell-Tower

The church of St Pancras probably dates from the eleventh century but has been enlarged and rebuilt several times.

The present steeple dates from 1854 and follows in the tradition of onion-shaped domes which are characteristic of Savoyard and Piemontese religious architecture of the late nineteeth century.

The original covering of tin plate had rusted badly and was replaced in 1989 by stainless steel and gold leaf.
